Chocolate and whiskey: two of our favourite things here at McGuire Chocolate.
When we tasted Michter’s Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey we immediately knew it would pair well with the citriusy flavour of Tanzania’s Kokoa Kamili cacao.
We soaked the nibs in the rye whiskey for 3 days to get as much whiskey flavour infused into the chocolate as possible. Still rich and chocolately the citrus notes in both the whiskey and the chocolate come together in the most pleasant way.
